Products

Whilst we make every effort to provide the goods as seen we reserve the right to substitute a product for equal or greater value. We work with small, local businesses so products will vary from time to time. Our business aim is to provide Kent and Sussex products and thus availability can vary and packaging may change. We will do our best to ensure quality is not compromised.

Alcohol

Only persons aged eighteen or over may place an order or receive a delivery that contains alcohol. By law we cannot sell products containing alcohol to those under eighteen. By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are confirming that you are aged eighteen years, or over, when purchasing products containing alcohol.

Prices and Payment

All items are clearly priced in pounds (GBP sterling). The first advertised price is inclusive of VAT and the final price will show the cost of the goods inclusive of VAT and delivery. Payment is made securely through paypal. Paypal is a widely used and safe payment method. Please refer to the Paypal website for further details. For our bespoke orders placed by email or telephone we ask for payment in advance of delivery. Such payment to be made over the telephone using a debit or credit card. We do not accept cheques unless otherwise agreed. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown then Pluckley Farm Shop reserves the right to cancel the order at that price. We will contact the purchaser giving the correct price and the option to place a new order at the correct price.

Delivery

We deliver Monday to Friday.   We deliver throughout mainland UK. Please allow an extra couple of days for delivery to remote areas, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

Delivery costs are not at present dependant on weight. We aim to deliver within 3 days of placing the order. If perishables are requested we reserve the right to vary the delivery terms to suit the nature of any perishable goods. Please note it may not be possible to deliver some fresh foods on a Monday as they may not keep if the goods are dispatched over the weekend.  Perishable foods may be liable to substitution if they are deemed not to travel well.

Our courier will usually require a signature for delivery so please try and make sure someone is available to take delivery. If the recipient is not at home then it is possible the driver will leave the parcel with a neighbour or in accordance with specific instructions given by the purchaser. If we cannot deliver then our courier will either attempt delivery the next working day or contact you to arrange a suitable time. Please note that we cannot specify the courier to be used for delivery as our use of couriers may vary as may their terms and conditions.

Contract

All orders are subject to acceptance by Pluckley Farm Shop and we reserve the right not to accept an order. We will send you a confirmation e-mail to confirm receipt of your order. We will send you a further e-mail to let you know that your order has been dispatched which will constitute acceptance of the order by us and the formation of a contract between us.

Cancellations

You have 24 hours after you have placed the order to cancel it. Please contact us immediately if you wish to make a cancellation. You have a right to cancel the contract with us at any time up to seven working days after delivery. Please note that this "cooling off" period does not apply to perishable goods i.e. those which will deteriorate rapidly. In this event please contact us in the first instance with any reasons for cancellation then return the goods in their original packaging at our contact address. Upon receipt of the products we will refund the value.  Please note that you are responsible for the cost of return.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

Pluckley Farm Shop are fully committed to providing you with an excellent service and quality products. If the goods are faulty or damaged in any way when they reach you then please contact us to discuss a refund or replacement within three working days after receipt. We will need to receive the faulty item(s) within 28 days. We will offer a free returns service for these products.

Force Majeure

Pluckley Farm Shop will endeavor to meet all reasonable delivery requests. Pluckley Farm Shop will not be held liable for any loss, delays or delivery failure resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control.

*The Distance Selling Directive applies to any consumer distance contract made under the law of an EU-Member State as well as the European Economic Area (EEA). It provides a number of fundamental legal rights for consumers in order to ensure a high level of consumer protection throughout the EU.
